if somebody like Clay Travis is to be believed is Alabama really a blue blood anymore after being decimated by transfers and not having the big money behind them like some of the Big 10 schools? There were key players from a bunch of SEC schools on Ohio State. Do schools like Ole Miss and Auburn have the deep pockets to retain their rosters or even get elite initial ones? Georgia was another one that suffered in a negative way. Because early on it seemed like you could finesse it and retain your players for the most part but as the money has gone up and up and up things are different.
