There is absolutely no logical reason why similar Christmas tournaments couldn’t be held in this era. A tournament in KCMO over Christmas could include Mizzou or Arky from the SEC, Nebraska or Iowa from the B1G, Creighton from the Big East, OU, OSU, kU, K-State, or Iowa St. from the Big XII, and Drake or MO St. from the MVC, and Wichita St. or Tulsa from the AAC.

It would be a blast.
