College football has become uninteresting to me but I remain

a still pretty big college basketball fan. But I am concerned DIL and the transfer rule will turn it into College Football where a very few large programs dominate.

I haven't watched any team but Mizzou play in college football for quite some time and don't even catch all Mizzou games any more. On top of the lack of parity, the games are too long at ~4 hours when I know that I'll be watching an NFL game the following day.

The anti Big XII hype on this forum also perplexes me. Be careful what you wish for. It behooves college football that the Big XII, and the Pac 12 and the B1G are all good and produce contenders. Otherwise, it's just a collection of a few schools that are ever going to be relevant and it could get worse with DIL and transfer rules.
