But the one thing that keeps me going is that Mizzou was in the same spot when I was in college. They were God awful.

Then, Larry Smith took over and there were some growth. Pinkel picked up the torch and Brad Smith broke it wide open, and it was so ****ing sweet when Mizzou beat Nebraska in 2003. Holy ****. That was amazing!

Do I expect Mizzou to contend for the SEC East title every year? No. ... But maybe it can be built to the point where the Tigers can pull off a monumental upset someday.

I still cling to that on my good days.
