now they've got it and it has ruined so many aspects of the sport and they don't know what to do.

You are right. All it is is the playoff. It's made the CCG games irrelevant also. It doesn't even matter if you get in it. It's made rivalries irrelevant. Nobody cares really if Clemson loses to South Carolina, if they in the playoff that's all that counts.
