"ring of truth." Sadly, although not a popular opinion, I think much of the lack of attendance can be attributed to the toxic residue of 2015. I believe a significant number of older (45+), once loyal, annual-renewing season ticket holders abandoned the program, forever, when the football team rebelled, essentially forcing the university leadership to resign. The proverbial "athletics tail wagging the academic dog." My advice: If you love the University of Missouri, and the young people who represent your school, GET OVER IT and return to the fold. The principle players in that drama are no longer there. Forgive. The current team and coaches deserve your support. (Although I'm at the "traditional" retirement age and work full-time, I still try to get back for a game or two, even though I live 6+ hours from COMO.)
