program. Larry Smith started the turnaround along with Devine's fund raising. Pinkel did a great job in laying the foundation for what principles this program would be based on, he opened up the Tejas market for recruiting, solidified the staff etc. If all of that doesn't happen we are not in the SEC.

The guy had his faults like most but he did much more good than bad and should be given credit for that. Two SEC championship games early on is much more than anyone expected for starters.
