things are all over the world. A couple of examples would be the numerous tribal conflicts that native Americans were engaged with each other, long before any European set foot on this continent. In South America and Africa, there are tribal rivalries and conflicts going back generations that would, if passed down through written word, sound like a biblical account.
Conflict between peoples is as old as man's need for scarce resources. And what we are experiencing today is a simple quest for resources, played out like a well written book by politicians, who have perfected the art of pitting good people against each other.
