The difference between playing in a weak conference vs playing in a strong conference?

The SEC was extremely weak in 2014-2015, probably the worst P6 conference overall. Yet, it is projected to be one of the best conferences in 2017-2018.

Therefore, 24 wins will be much harder to attain in 2017-2018 than it was in 2014-2015.

This is not a difficult concept to grasp.
