i read an article today in which colorado's implementing a "fire and forget" birth control led to a massive (close to 50%) reduction in teen pregnancy.

would socialized medicine lead to an increased treatment of the cause? i mean, maybe not with the obese population, but it seems it may be productive in other areas...
