convinced that he's a better coach than CM.

Could CM have gone 9-9 at Oklahoma State this year? I think so, possibly better.

And look at what Underwood inherited at Stephen F Austin. When he arrived, SFA was already a 27-win program and #1 in its conference. When he left, it was a 28-win program, essentially the same. So he didn't build anything, just maintained what SFA already had.

And of course, when he finally coached against P5 competition in the Big 12, he went 9-9... very similar to most of the seasons Travis Ford had there.
