Illinois is a top 10 or so basketball job. Underwood doesn't have anyplace on his resume where he's shown he can recruit at a high level. Not even as an assistant.

FOR HIS ENTIRE CAREER.

Further, he's not early in his career. The guy is in his mid-fifties.

The loss of this year's Illinois class might not be disastrous, but considering the lack of recruiting resume elsewhere, it's an ominous sign if you're an Illini fan.
