People use it as excuse for a coach they like and they use it as a point of blame for a coach they don't like. It happens all the time.
When the Haith recruits transferred, it was all Kim Anderson's fault according to this board. If we had Illinois recruiting class and then hired Underwood and lost then, this board would have eaten him alive.
But the truth we all know is that taking over a program and convincing the other coach's recruits to stay committed is a difficult task. It makes what Cuonzo is doing in such a short time all that much more impressive.
The one thing we all should be able to agree on is that Cuonzo is doing pretty great so far. Who cares about Illannoy?
