I also see your point about Underwood. But I guess I would say there's always guys like Jim Tressel at Ohio State - went from FCS right to top division one and didn't miss a beat. I just think Underwood deserves a chance it's way too early. Does he need to prove himself? Yes but every coach needs to do that along the way even the ones with great track records
