Alliances with other nations is good.

Putin, nor other foreign leaders, should dictate who the US allies with.

A Russian-controlled Ukraine is Russia. There is no buffer.

“Trigger Russian aggression” means you understand Russia is the aggressor, but think they should be allowed to benefit from that aggression. Let Russia have Ukraine, or at least large parts of it, so that NATO won’t attack Russia. Which they were never going to do.

Makes perfect sense.
