country run by a dictator who is quite likely siphoning additional millions into his personal account and that of his friends & allies is a disaster is a blatant example of a plan that is a "total joke and failure globally: That's especially true when that country has no possible chance of winning the war, or even pushing Russia out of the regions they have already taken.

The Ukrainian military is decimated, demoralized and on its last legs. The Russian military is FAR larger and can easily continue grinding away and destroying what is left of the Ukrainian military. The Ukrainian destruction is despite the hundreds of billions in western aid they have already been given and the US stockpiles of weapons available have been greatly depleted. The US would be extremely foolish to continue sending weapons at the rates they have been, especially given the ongoing threats of war in the Middle East with Israel, Iran & the Houthis. The US & Israel were running very low on missiles in the 7 day Iran/Israel war and the US is not geared up for a wartime weapons manufacturing schedule. Our NATO allies are on a 3 year waiting list to replace anti missile batteries already given to Ukraine. How absurd to lower our own defensive capabilities even as China is saber rattling and threatening to invade Taiwan.

But the bottom line is that even if the US could continue supplying Ukraine at its earlier pace it wouldn't matter, other than delaying the inevitable defeat of Ukraine. They just don't have the manpower or expertise to use the weapons. Russia is systematically destroying their military capabilities and "business as usual" is a losing proposition.

It would take US &/or NATO boots on the ground to have any chance at stopping the Russian advance, much less pushing them out of Ukraine entirely, and direct war with Russia would be insane. Both sides have been threatening to use nukes if necessary and Russia & the US have some 80% of the nuclear stockpiles and easily enough to destroy the world population many times over.

I think it would be wises to table your Tump hatred and plan that is a "total joke and failure globally" and just accept a peace plan.

Why not try something different for a change?
