How do you think the US would have reacted if the Warsaw Pact countries had sent their KGB into Quebec and overthrew the president, installing their own puppet who was pro-Moscow? Keep in mind they were then training their military to fight the US and were working on bringing them into the Warsaw Pact... which would have included installing nuclear capable missiles along our border.

The US and NATO had promised Russia that they would not expand NATO eastward when they released all of their former satellite states to form their own sovereign nations.

But we renegged. We started adding additional NATO nations one by one, surrounding Russia with new NATO members, all trained and ready to fight Russia and all armed with missiles that could inflict grave damage on them.

How would we feel if they did that in Cuba, Mexico & Canada?
