the US Constitution is what limits the Federal government, not the state governments. They are bound by their own Constitutions. Not all states have the exact same 2nd amendment, with NY being one of those.

the USSC has taken over state laws to which it should not.

the Civil Rights acts is nothing about rights. It is both not within the realm of federal powers, and is a "forced right" not anything to do with freedom.

I agree that they got it right on abortion, but just because of politics, not because of logic, otherwise, the USSC would have done a whole lot more on other issues.
