bad to my parents, aunts and uncles and other adults I knew. The societal norms were being violently challenged, and it seemed bad to me as well. They were showing 'hippies' vandalizing buildings, throwing bombs & so on. A lot of the young people, and older ones too, advocating drugs and dropping out... 'tune in, turn on, and drop out' as Timothy Leary advocated.
