markets. People lose interest when they know they are at a significant disadvantage to begin with. Sure they will still go to the ball park once in a while to get out and enjoy a game, but season ticket sales are down all over MLB.

It's also a big reason why the NFL is so successful. A small market team can compete with a big market team. Season tickets for the NFL are at an all time high. It's mainly due to the salary cap and giving each of the teams a somewhat level playing field.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
