huge advantage the blue blood schools have in places like Bama, Georgia, LSU, etc...with rabid fan bases will continue to fund it to no end.
Mizzou simply can't compete with that, and they never will. At least before there were just a few top notch players being paid under the table...now it's every great player and there is no limit to how much they can pay.
While the NIL lovers may have had no impact on it being implemented there were and are still tons here that think it's some great thing when it clearly isn't.
If it stays the way it is set up now there will be a 10 - 20 teams that will dominate College football for the rest of time, and Mizzou will never sniff a chance at a National Championship.
That is why Mizzou football is dead. You may not see it this coming season, but the NIL Grim Reaper is about to decapitate Mizzou. Just a matter of time. Mizzou fans and alumni will get sick of the stupid no rules NIL game and stop showing up. Attendance will below 20,000 for games in no time. Why spend the time, money, and energy to watch a product you know can't compete?
Mizzou games will look more like kU games in the near future. Empty stadiums.
