So why can't MU attract better talent? Is it something about the culture, the coaching, the town? Or is it just poor recruiting? I know that a lot of top in-state recruits want to get away from home and go elsewhere. Or they go to MO State because historically, it has better winning tradition and fan support/interest? The year we got Sophie and Cierra was a good class, but what kept it from being a great class was losing the St. Louis-area blue-chip to UConn.
