RE: When was WBB an elite program?

I don’t understand the argument that MU should keep Pingeton because MU has never been elite. I would settle for being Iowa, Iowa State, Nub, IL, Arky, MO State, ku or kstate in women’s hoops these days. You know, the schools in all those talent rich states with big NIL dollars, superior facilities, population advantages, etc. All have either been way better during the 21st century or currently have a more promising future (see IL). I have a sneaking suspicion the real difference is they work hard at recruiting and development. Robin needs to evaluate her program in year 13? Has she not spent any time in a decade plus evaluating what the area comp is doing let alone nationally?

It’s all infuriating nonsense to me.
