Haven’t been elite but

Coach Pingeton had a generational player in Sophie that was a building block. She did not capitalize on the situation. Coach Pingeton has had many high level recruits commit to the program in the recent past and they showed up and sat on the bench and later transferred or just did not play to their potential. For whatever reason, she also cannot attract high level post players. The program is not going to be elite with Coach Pingeton but there is always hope that a new coach can build that type of program. How does any program become elite? It starts with hiring the right coach. It is time to make the change. She has been given enough time to prove what she is capable of and unfortunately she just isn’t good enough to get to the elite level.
