especially now in the context of punishment for lower level drug crimes. It's the liberals who want to relax the punishment and the conservative law & order types who want to build more prisons to enforce the laws to their fullest extent.

I don't think folks are crazy for wanting to limit government, but I think there are a lot of instances that show where you limit government (regulation in some areas), the increased "freedom" is for those in power to infringe on those who don't have the same footing.
