That's completely false. A right to life can be infringed on, and a life can be taken, but the right to life cannot be negated or taken.

If that's your reasoning, are you in favor of thieves having their hands chopped off? There are all kinds of punishments that significantly reduce recidivism. Are you for any and all? What's your threshold?
