They were committed to Washington under Romar and attending high school in Washington having moved away from Columbia. Cuonzo was hired, hired their dad as an assistant, and signed them to MU.

Then they contributed nearly nothing on the court, and Michael in particular was a big reason we got blown out in the NCAA tourney. But attributing credit to someone else for them being at MU seems odd.
