I'd suggest any success he has had (while minimal) has been earned, he certainly took over a complete bag of crap.

Decent coaching would have greatly improved the results of the 2017-18 and 2020-21 season and he largely squandered those opportunities. But he did actually and validly make the NCAA tournaments as at large bids, I'm not sure who else you would attribute the credit to.
