Mizzou has been top 4 in the SEC in budget 1 time since joining the conference. That was only because Mizzou was paying buyouts. Bottom 4 5 times

The commitment isn’t there financially.
There are several other areas you could look at as well.
I get the sense that the goal is to not suck, when it should be to be good.
