The 80's?.. Our admin defunded football into oblivion...

in the 80's and 90's. We were essentially KU football. You can't blame the fan base for that, and by doing so you're proving my point about sadsack fans like zoomer and yourself.

Also, we expanded the fan base a great deal during the success of the Pinkel and Mike Anderson eras. It's a major reason why elite conferences like the Big Ten and SEC were interested back in 2010.

The years of 2014 and 2015 were major setbacks, however, with the protests crushing FB and Kim Anderson crushing BB.

We've gradually recovered since then and hopefully Drink is the spark we need to get back to pre-2015 support and potentially expand on that. Cuonzo will be gone soon as well.
