He said parts of that in an interview, but it was in regards to doing the right thing and winning in life. He was committed to doing right by the kids and said if Sterk had to fire him, he would shake his hand, hug him, and he wouldn’t hear from him again. Meaning he wouldn’t bad mouth him or complain that his firing was unfair. And he’s the rare coach that said this is home. He said he wanted to finish his career here.
