I don't expect you to explain it because I doubt if you can. Just like a liberal, you just let reality slide over your head if it conflicts with what you've been taught.

I wonder if, as a loyal church goer, maybe Catholic, of 500 years ago you would have been bothered by people being burned at the stake for religious beliefs. Or lack thereof. I kind of doubt it.
