He is an idiot with no depth at all in this thinking.

I look at it this way. Every organization goes constantly through change, and that pace of change is moving faster, regardless of the industry you are in.

Diversity can help you through that change...and by diversity, I am not talking about physical attributes (although those may lend to others), but diversity in thought..both from how to do stuff internally, and understanding customers, or suppliers) externally.

If everyone in the organization thinks the same, how do you bring about new ideas? and have debate if everyone just agrees with the boss.
