maybe not as much social distancing per se, but how many people you come in contact with over a given time, the odds a person you come in contact with has the disease, and the infection rate from one person to another.
How the policies are put in place and enforced is where the "problems" occur. And yes..as you change from one policy to another, it becomes even more emotionally based.
Being from the agriculture world and having gone through various disease models, the science is not that bad..but in agriculture, you can control things...with people, you really cannot....outside of a complete lockdown.
