realignment. What it will ultimately look like is anybody’s guess.
When these grant-of-rights start to expire money as always will dictate who goes where.
Texas and Norte Dame are the big prizes out there although I do not ever see the SEC taking Texas or Florida State. That ship sailed long ago in the 1992 SEC expansion.

The biggest drivers for expansion will be new money from new players. AT&T, Disney, Google or Facebook wanting to expand their empires.

Geography while important will not be the main consideration driving expansion. Viewing content will be the main consideration.
Likely the Big XII will be canalbalized for the other four super conferences.
