about independence for years. That could just be a negotiation ploy to remind other Big XII schools that they’re the he-bull in the yard. The Longhorn Network was just another manifestation of that arrogance. Offering aTm a piece of the LHN could be construed as UT’s way to keep the Aggies tied to them. I’m forever grateful that aTm didn’t take the bait and moved to the SEC which enabled Mizzou’s move.
