more fluid as well. if the NFL can create a schedule every year based on the previous year's standings, i'm pretty sure the conferences could do the same. give the top teams a tougher schedule and the bottom teams an easier. let's see more competitive games rather than a season of blow-out after blow-out with teams just hoping to remain unbeaten long enough to make it to the playoff. that's exciting for maybe 6 teams a year.
