Culture has seemingly shifted from CHRISTMAS VACATION to Winter Break. That was my point. Secondarily I noted how it was in some sense similar to the ascendance of Christmas as the Winter holiday where for millenia it had been Solstice.

That's all - no need to get all emotional about it.

Fox at least dropped that bullsht "war on Christmas" crap. I for one am a huge fan of Christmas, for what it is worth.
