True, but MS didn't have an injury. I just don't think he was prepared to do well at the P5 level. Will he? Sure...in time.

But, he was overmatched quite dramatically and the loss of confidence is due to being overmatched. It's not like he had a fade-away that just wouldn't consistently fall or his excellent handles routinely got him opportunities at the basket but he missed or he was physically able to stay with opposing players on defense but just got confused.

Mental is part of it, for sure as you attest. But, in my experience, loss of confidence also occurs when you are simply overmatched and you know it. IT seems the only people who refuse to believe that were mom and dad.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
