So Underwood can't identify athleticism effectively?

Not situational, NCAA-caliber basketball decision-making...athleticism is the comment he makes in that quote. Underwood thought very much that he had the physical abilities that gave him potential to be a good player.

So is Underwood a liar? Or is he just not very good at evaluating recruits?
