and stings the most . If you had one of (Sale, Lindor, Baez, Rendon, Springer) this is a totally different team today. Literally, the best draft and the absolute worst pick in the 1st round.

After that the Royals had two more top 10 picks (Hunter Dozier and Kyle Zimmer). Dozier looks okay and Zimmer looks to be a bust due to injuries. The biggest problem for the Royals is the don't only miss their 1st round picks they miss on most of them all together. A good amount of top picks in their farm system are international guys outside of the draft. They need new scouts or something.
