My point is since you have gone down the slope it’s an a avalanche- The NFL” fixed” it by having tiny divisions so that most teams are still in the hunt until like the 14th week of the season


Rivalries really mean nothing. They are media generated things and many have been broken apart by conference realignment anyway like Texas Texas A&M West Virginia Pitt and Missouri Kansas and I guarantee you any of those teams would give up that rivalry or lose that game in exchange for getting into the playoffs regularly
