team cannot be in the Big 10 or SEC. The talk of the SEC having 20 teams or the Big Ten having 25 teams is absurd. At some point you need to completely forget about these conferences and go like the NFL which is really what you’re proposing.

But there needs to be a mathematical certainty just like the NFL. The at-large teams would need to be wild cards to earn their way and not “picked” by a committee.
