Get to the playoffs, and somehow catch fire.

Look at the Royals in 2014 and 2015. Back to back WS and won one...came one out from winning two in a row.

Bet you can probably name 2 or 3 players off of those teams if you aren't a Royals fan.

Go ahead and try...I will give you the obvious ones...

Salvy, Hosmer, Moose, LoCain, but most of the team were players no one heard of before. If you ask most fans that aren't Royals fans they couldn't name a sigle player except probably Salvy
