chance. And I guess that's my point. You view Cards position as "no hope of post-season success" and I think if we just make the playoffs anything can happen. I think it's the difference of a fan that's been starved for postseason baseball and a fan that has seen far more success. Unfortunately, as you mentioned plenty on this board, with how baseball is going from a payroll standpoint it's only going to get worse for the Cards.
