e feds are acting within the constraints of the Constitution - a constitution the states used to empower on a limited, specific basis, the federal gvmt.

You may think in terms of checks and balances between Congress, the Judiciary, and the Executive - but where did the voice of the states go?

Oh- that's right - basically gone and hence we have a massive, bloated, over empowered federal gvmt and we are stuck arguing about how it gets used/abused every day.
