It was a way to prove a point instead of using exceptions of people who chose to stay in a job. UCLA isn't some D1 Football powerhouse. Bill Snyder has never been the best coach in the US no matter what some other coach thinks.

If the pay gap for coaches in the two leagues continue to widen, and it will with the revenues widening, the quality of the teams will continue to widen too. That's a basic fact that a 10 year-old would understand and agree with.
