I think he's referring to the ever expanding "playoff" - which ultimately would lead to a "super" league that may lose appeal to a lot of fans in various regional areas. Example: If Arizona State isn't in the super league would anyone in Phoenix really care about the "playoff"? There is a regional charm to college sports that is lost as some of this becomes reality.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
