No CBA or salary cap would remove the NIL issue

even pro sports cannot - and do not - limit how much athletes can make on their NIL. I mean right now we sort of have a salary cap - you have a scholarship limit and the scholarship is limited to room, board, tuition at the school. The new settlement allows for up to 22% of sports revenue, so you could cap that, but that's just reverting back to what we have now.

So I don't know how outside of federal legislation, this can be fixed.
