I don't know and have seen very little on the subjecct other than speculation about it.

I do understand the Department of Education issued a memo last Thursday on the subject. I haven't seen the memo, but I understand it takes the position that Title IX applies to NIL.

It seems to me the particular facts of each situation will/would go a long way in determining whether Title IX applies. I.e. is there a single deal between a single firm and a single player. How the deal was put together would be another, i.e. the less involvment the school and its representatives have, the less likely Title IX applies, conversely the more involvement . . ..

I would guess that there may be amendments to Title IX on this particular issue and/or litigation over it.
